SGLBA Event Bookings Policy

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings for events operated by the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Business Association ("SGLBA"). SGLBA may vary or replace these conditions at any time. Any variation or replacement takes effect from the time it is posted on this website.

Your booking will only be accepted when your credit card details, including the full fee, are confirmed by your financial institution.
SGLBA does not accept provisional bookings or deposits. The full price is payable at the time of booking. GST applies to your booking and is included in the price advertised. SGLBA may also refuse a booking without giving reasons.
If a concession is available for an event, you must provide SGLBA with suitable and valid identification to qualify for that concession.
Once purchased, your booking cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded except as set out in these terms and conditions.
You may cancel your booking at any time before the event is due to take place, but if you cancel less than 7 days before the date of the event, then SGLBA reserves the right to deduct a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the full price.
SGLBA reserves the right to substitute or vary advertised artists, speakers, programs or seating arrangements.
If SGLBA cancels the event, you will receive a full refund.
If SGLBA reschedules the event to another date, you will be given the option of canceling your booking and receiving a full refund, or moving it to the new date. While SGLBA will make every effort to contact you by telephone or email to notify you of the new date, time or venue it is your responsibility to check that the event is going ahead and the new details.
If SGLBA cancels the event or moves it to another date for any reason, it is not liable to pay you any amount (including any compensation) other than a full refund.
Your right of admission to the event venue is subject to the venue's terms of admission.
If tickets are issued in respect of an event then these conditions also apply:

We may specify the method of collection or delivery;
You must allow adequate time to collect or arrange delivery of your tickets;
SGLBA may charge an additional fee to replace lost or stolen tickets.

The form you fill out to make your booking is a tax invoice for the purposes of GST legislation.
Cameras, audio and video recordings are not permitted. However, SGLBA reserves the right to photograph, record or broadcast any event.
